Fees
One fee, charged on the curve, and a split that is fixed in the contract rather than set by a dashboard. Every figure on this page is read from the same module the contracts are tested against.
What a trade costs
0.5%
On every buy and every sell while a token is on its curve. A launch created on this site has both fees at 0.5%; a create sent to testnet-1's factory directly may set them anywhere up to 2%, and the contract refuses more.
Half of it goes to the creator
50%
of every fee, to the person who launched the token. Not a grant, not an allocation of supply — a share of what their token’s own trading earns.
Where the fee goes
| Share | Of the fee | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| The token's creator | 50% | Paid on every trade of their launch, on the curve. It is the only thing a creator earns: they receive no free tokens. |
| Protocol | 40% | Runs the platform. A valid referral takes 10% of the fee from inside this share, so it nets 30% when a trader was referred. |
| Operations | 10% | Indexing, infrastructure and support. |
The three add up to 100%, and the contract refuses a launch whose split does not. A referral is not a fourth share: it comes out of the protocol’s.
On a 1 WETH (test) trade
- Fee
- 0.005
- To the creator
- 0.0025
- To protocol
- 0.002
- To operations
- 0.0005
Rounding never favours the trader or the creator: the fee rounds up and the rounding remainder of the split goes to protocol, so the creator’s share is exactly 50% and never a wei more.
What this page is not telling you yet
- This is the curve fee. It applies while a token is still on its bonding curve. After graduation the token trades on a Uniswap v4 pool at that pool’s own fee, FairHatch charges nothing further, and it earns only its share of the fees the locked liquidity position collects.
- Holder rewards are not active. The factory refuses a launch that asks for them.
- Testnet only. FairHatch's contracts are deployed on Robinhood Chain Testnet (testnet-1) and on no other chain. Fees there are charged in WETH (test), which has no value, and no fee has ever been charged on mainnet. What is and is not live.
